Looking for inspirational ideas and practical advice on successfully using mobile interpretation in your museum? Would you like to question leading professionals and get first-hand experience of the latest developments? Want to see examples of how museums are now using augmented reality?
Then join a small group of museum professionals in March to discover how to deliver inspirational and integrated interpretation through a range of handheld devices.
We'll be examining leading-edge multimedia devices and interpretation delivered both as an in-gallery experience and as downloadable Apps to be used on the street.
We’ll be visiting Tate Modern, the British Museum and St Paul's Cathedral, plus there will be workshops about the 'Love Art' App for The National Gallery, the 'Quilts' App for the V&A, and 'Yours Vincent' for the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

You’ll also get the opportunity to use the new Museum of London Streetmuseum - a groundbreaking iPhone app which brings the Museum of London’s extensive art and photographic collections to the streets of the capital. Streetmuseum guides users to sites across London where hidden histories of the city dramatically appear. Over 200 sites have been picked where users can look through their iPhones and see the past emerge, locked as an overlay across the present scene.

"It was a most useful day. Carefully thought through and tightly focused. The speakers were judiciously chosen and it had a lively pace but with time for questions. I cannot fault it – it delivered everything you promised"
Nigel Semmens, Director of Communications & Media, The National Gallery, London
"I found the day inspiring and useful. Myself and colleagues are benefitting greatly. The positioning of these events is spot on in terms of progression for the sector"
Anna Salaman, Head of Formal Learning, National Maritime Museum
"I very much enjoyed the seminar. I loved the practical advice rooted in experience. Engaging speakers - particularly helpful to hear about potential pitfalls too – they were open and frank...very refreshing"
Lynette Burgess, Learning Manager, Colchester & Ipswich Museum Service
"...I thought the seminar was excellent, very useful indeed. I think your more imaginative approach is great for professional development"
Andrea Bishop, Director of Collections, National Motor Museum
