We design and build large-scale multimedia installations for cultural and corporate clients. We also create broadcast quality motion graphics and visual effects for the television industry.
Since forming in 1999 we have built a broad range of in-house expertise including live action direction, graphic design, animation and multimedia programming. Thanks to our TV work we’re used to working to tight briefs and producing the highest quality work within limited timescales.
The studio originally specialised in television graphics and we have worked on over 300 TV projects ranging from content animation and title sequences to the design and production of complete channel identites.
We were involved in some of the earliest explorations into the link between TV and interactive audiences including Channel 4’s ‘Alt News’ in 2001, the precursor to 4Docs and the channel’s first attempt to collect user generated content. We consulted on the design of the BBC iPlayer.
We moved into producing software and AV content for permanent interactive installations with our appointment as designers for The Futures Gallery at Thinktank and have since worked on some of the countries biggest multimedia projects.
We have worked closely with a wide range of clients including The British Council, the ICA, National Museum of Scotland, the National Maritime Museum Falmouth, Mercedes-Benz, The Lighthouse, E4, the BBC, MTV, various independent TV & film production companies and advertising agencies. We made the AV and interactive installations for the London Transport Museum, Covent Garden.
Our designers have won numerous awards including D&AD pencils, Cannes Lions, Roses, RTS, Art Directors Club Golds and BAFTA New Talent.
